Ethereal Of Light

The way I created this print was by making a collagraph print, what it is, is where you start with a piece of cardboard and start layering different materials onto the cardboard to create layers and different textures for the final print. 

After you have finished, you put the ink colours you want onto the stamp and take a thicker piece of paper and lay the print down on top, and then roll it through a press.  

I think that this was such a fun piece of work that I have created, and was such a fun challenge. 

The reason for it's name is that the yellow strip going though it is a ray of light and I made sure not to add to much ink onto the stamp so that I could get this faded effect and have it look more like light through the trees.
